This blender is well manufactured and extremely weighty. It has glass jug instead of plastic jug, and its quite potent with four speeds. Seems to be great also.I use it for friuts smoothies. with linseed and sesame seed pre-blended in it very first,then incorporate banana, apples, kiwi. YUM… I also tried to make uncooked eco-friendly smoothies, it was spinnach, pear, broccolli and cucumber, but bits of broccolli unblended, but nonetheless drinkable. I have not try it with ice crashing but, I feel it will does it ok as well.Also, have not try it for soup, as I have a hand blender for it, but intruction mentioned that you have to awesome the soup down initial.Cleaning – I have no difficulty of cleaning it and I discovered it relatively easy and quick, just fill half of the jug with drinking water, then place back on and change on blender for 5 seconds. then, rinse it off. Of system if you use it for greasy meals or soup or a lot more reliable foods, like hummus, then perhaps a various tale, as you are not able to remove the blade to thoroughly clean.Storage – it store properly and tidy, it has cable storage on foundation and a vitual socket for storing the plug.I purchased it on sale fr. Amazon, so it was half of the price tag, it well worth each and every penny. I will suggest it for all sort of smoothies and cocktail at the very least!update/ 12 Nov.2011It’s damaged!!I was generating my everyday smoothie and the blade arrived off, leaked to the foundation device.
